Serene on Tweed will provide 77 spacious apartments of 6 storeys, for those aged over 55. The site is just over 3000m2 with a GFA of 8500m2 and is ideally situated across the road from the Tweed Heads bowling club and the Tweed Hospital and is within walking distance of local shopping centres, medical centres, entertainment, the Tweed River and beaches. The project will offer more than 50 services and facilities, including a media room, well-being centre, library, cinema room, pools, spas, gymnasium, 24-hour on-call health care staff, along with basement parking. Marchese Partners have been appointed to carry out the amendment to the DA, tender and construction documents. Construction has commenced and completion is due October 2012.
